National Cancer Institute to come up at Jhajjar

The Centre Thursday cleared a proposal for setting up of National Cancer Institute at the Jhajjar campus of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, at a cost of Rs 2035 crore.

To improve health facilities in Uttarakhand, Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad today announced a cancer institute for Haldwani in Nainital district and a cancer care centre at the Doon Hospital here.
